Ingredients
8 oz block cream cheese, softened to room temperature
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
5 oz package INSTANT vanilla pudding mix (larger box)
3 cups milk (2% or higher)
2 tsp vanilla extract
8 oz tub whipped topping (COOL WHIP), thawed (divided use)
11 oz box Nilla wafers (divided use)
5-7 bananas, peeled and sliced (divided use)
Instructions
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth and fluffy. Add sweetened condensed milk, pudding mix, and milk. Finally, add vanilla extract and stir well.
Stir in half of the whipped topping.
Layer one-third of the Nilla wafers in a dish, followed by a layer of sliced bananas, then pour one-third of the pudding mixture on top.
Repeat layering two more times with wafers, bananas, and pudding mixture.
Top with remaining whipped topping. Cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
Notes
For a twist, substitute vanilla extract with banana extract to enhance the banana flavor.
Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature for a smooth, lump-free pudding.
