Ingredients
2 cups unsifted flour
1 cup lightly packed brown sugar
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
2 (12 oz) packages fresh cranberries
1 cup chopped pecans
Zest from 2 oranges + juice from one
1 cup sugar
Β½ tsp salt
Β½ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
ΒΌ stick butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400Β°. For the topping, mix flour and brown sugar, then add 1 cup butter to create a crumbly mixture.
For the filling, mix sugar, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Combine cranberries, pecans, orange zest, and juice in a large bowl. Stir in the sugar mixture.
Pour the fruit mixture into a baking dish, add slices of ΒΌ stick butter on top, then cover with the flour mixture. Bake for 45-55 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for an extra treat!
