  • 1 cup Dr. Pepper soda (non-alcoholic) πŸ₯€
  • 1/2 cup ketchup πŸ…
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce πŸ₯£
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce 🍢
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar 🍏
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar 🟀
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch 🌽
  • 2 tablespoons water πŸ’§

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef πŸ₯©, breadcrumbs 🍞, egg πŸ₯š, onion πŸ§…, garlic πŸ§„, salt πŸ§‚, and pepper πŸŒ‘. Mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the meatballs on all sides, then remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, combine Dr. Pepper πŸ₯€, ketchup πŸ…, Worcestershire sauce πŸ₯£, soy sauce 🍢, apple cider vinegar 🍏, and brown sugar 🟀. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Return the meatballs to the skillet and cook in the sauce for 10-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch 🌽 and water πŸ’§. Stir into the sauce to thicken.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
