- 1 lb ground beef π₯©
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs π
- 1 egg π₯
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped π§
- 1 clove garlic, minced π§
- 1/2 teaspoon salt π§
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper π
- 1 cup Dr. Pepper soda (non-alcoholic) π₯€
- 1/2 cup ketchup π
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce π₯£
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce πΆ
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar π
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar π€
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch π½
- 2 tablespoons water π§
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef π₯©, breadcrumbs π, egg π₯, onion π§ , garlic π§, salt π§, and pepper π. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the meatballs on all sides, then remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, combine Dr. Pepper π₯€, ketchup π , Worcestershire sauce π₯£, soy sauce πΆ, apple cider vinegar π, and brown sugar π€. Bring to a simmer.
- Return the meatballs to the skillet and cook in the sauce for 10-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch π½ and water π§. Stir into the sauce to thicken.
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
