Wake up to the sweet aroma of Hawaiian Rolls Sticky Buns! Perfect for a cozy breakfast, these buns are a delightful mix of caramel and pecans, ready in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients
12 pack Hawaiian sweet rolls
½ cup unsalted butter
½ cup heavy cream
1 cup brown sugar (light or dark, packed)
4 tablespoons light corn syrup
⅛ teaspoon salt
1 cup pecans (chopped)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Cut an ‘X’ on top of each roll, almost to the bottom.
In a saucepan, combine butter, cream, brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Stir over medium heat until butter melts. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Pour the mixture into the baking dish. Sprinkle pecans over it.
Place rolls top side down in the caramel. Bake for 14-18 minutes until brown.
Let rolls rest for 5 minutes. Invert onto a platter, spooning any remaining caramel and pecans over the rolls. Serve warm.
Notes
Always preheat your oven for even baking.
For a richer flavor, try using dark brown sugar.
If Hawaiian rolls aren’t available, Sister Schubert parker house rolls are a great substitute.
