Description

Sausage Egg and Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups are a delicious and satisfying breakfast option, combining savory sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, and melted cheddar cheese wrapped in a warm flour tortilla.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks. Stir occasionally until browned and fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. In the same skillet, add a bit of butter or oil and pour in the egg mixture. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are soft and scrambled. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Lay the flour tortillas flat on a clean surface. Evenly distribute the cooked sausage and scrambled eggs onto each tortilla. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Carefully roll up each tortilla tightly, securing the filling inside.
  6. Heat a little butter or oil in the same skillet over medium heat. Place the roll-up seam side down and cook for 2-3 minutes, turning to brown all sides and melt the cheese inside.
  7. Slice the roll-ups into bite-sized pieces and serve warm. Enjoy your delicious and satisfying breakfast!

Notes
