Steep the tea for 3-5 minutes in boiled water (if using green tea, the water should not be boiling hot). Remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
While the tea is cooling, combine the blueberries, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a small bowl. Gently mash the blueberries with a fork or muddler to release their juices.
Stir in the honey or sugar into the warm tea until fully dissolved. Adjust the sweetness to your liking.
Once the tea is cool, add the blueberry-lemon mixture to the tea and stir well to combine.
Refrigerate the tea until it is thoroughly chilled, or serve immediately over ice if you prefer.
Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled Blueberry Iced Tea Lemonade over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves, lemon slices, and extra blueberries if desired. Enjoy!
