Ingredients
  

  • 5 pieces chicken thighs, skin on, bone-in
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar

  • 1 Slow Cooker

Method
 

  1. Place the chicken, salt, pepper, and garlic into the slow cooker.
  2. Optionally, brown the chicken skin-side down in a pan before adding to the slow cooker.
  3. Stir to combine and flip the chicken so the skin side is facing up.
  4. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the chicken.
  5. Cook on low for 480 minutes or high for 240 minutes.
  6. Optionally serve with freshly chopped parsley on top.

Notes

Adjust seasoning to your taste. Can pair well with rice or vegetables.
