Method
- Add chicken to a large sealable container with avocado oil, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and dried mustard. Toss to coat and refrigerate to marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Toss marinated chicken thighs with 1/4 cup BBQ sauce and arrange on the baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, flip, brush with reserved BBQ sauce, and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Increase oven heat to broil, flip the chicken again, and brush with BBQ sauce. Broil for 5-6 minutes until crispy and cooked through.
- Serve with extra BBQ sauce if desired.
