Cheesy Rotel Sausage Balls

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can Rotel (10 ounces) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups biscuit baking mix (like Bisquick)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste Chopped fresh parsley or green onions (optional)

Method
 

  1. Get your oven heated to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or give it a good greasing.
  2. Throw everything into a large bowl - sausage, cream cheese, drained Rotel, cheddar, biscuit mix, and all your seasonings. Mix it up until everything's well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on your prepared baking sheet.
  4. Pop them in the oven for 20-25 minutes until they're golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Sprinkle with some fresh parsley or green onions if you like, and serve them while they're hot!
